Whenever cultures have met, through exploration, colonization, or immigration, they’ve ended up sharing and mixing their food. A great example of this is the Silk Road, which helped mix Eastern and Western food.

SakkuSamba is our fusion food spot in the busy city of Manchester, UK. Plus, we’re happy to share that we’re about to open a new spot in Bradford, so more people can join us on our food adventure.

At SakkuSamba, every item on our menu is our way of saying how much we love fusion cuisine. We get creative with ingredients and flavours from all sorts of cuisines, to give you a special, unforgettable food experience.

For instance, check out our “Prawn & Octopus Salad” – it’s a cool mix of fresh seafood with a classic Japanese dressing. The prawns and octopus are cooked until they’re perfectly tender, then mixed with peppers and tomato, and dressed with olive oil and yuzu dressing. This gives a fantastic mix of textures and flavours that makes for a great meal.

Another favourite is our “Spicy Tuna Uramaki”. This dish is our own take on traditional Japanese sushi, with a spicy twist. The roll has the best quality tuna and tempura bits, mixed with mayonnaise and a touch of chili sauce, all wrapped up with rice on the outside and seaweed on the inside. This bold and tasty combination has a perfect balance of taste, texture, and spiciness, which is why people love it.

From our Brazilian grill, the “Cap of Rump/Picanha” is a must-try. This popular Brazilian meat cut has a really rich flavour, cooked medium to medium-well and sliced to serve. The simple cooking style lets the quality of the beef stand out, showing off the strong flavours that Brazilian cuisine is known for.

And for our vegan friends, the “Vegan Yaki Udon” shows that we want everyone to enjoy our menu. This dish is a tasty mix of udon noodles, lots of vegetables, and a traditional Japanese sauce. With tofu added for some extra protein, this dish is not just good for you but also full of flavour.
